HLWS invites submissions of original, unpublished essays and book reviews in Spanish, English and Portuguese.

Although the Journal is mostly devoted to literature, film, and cultural studies, the journal will consider critical theory-based essays that rethink well-established white racial formation theories.

    We accept submissions all year-round.
